Default Karcepts Quick Adjust Front & Rear Sway Bar Kits

Karcepts S2000 Front Sway Bar Kit:
$675 Shipped in the Continental U.S.

Designed specifically for track/autocross use, this sway bar kit offers zero compromises:
  • Billet aluminum arms optimized for strength and weight utilizing the latest FEA software
  • Like a blade style sway bar, roll stiffness can be adjusted quickly, and with one wrench
  • Unlike a blade style sway bar, adjustments are finite, with no possibility of slipping position
  • Rate adjustments are made with the vehicle on the ground, even at low ride heights
  • 6 adjustment positions per sway bar arm
  • Light weight, zero deflection solid sway bar mounts provided for precise feel
  • Low friction, lubrication free, dirt resistant, solid polymer bearings require no maintenance
  • Heat treated and plated steel alloy PTFE lined endlinks and all hardware included
  • 32mm (1.25") diameter high-grade spring steel splined center section for consistent rates
  • Center section available in many different wall thicknesses
  • Stiffest setting yields 11% more angular twist on a given center section compared to any other splined style S2000 front sway bar on the market
NOTE: Brake line mounting brackets, remote reservoir lines, nitrogen fill connections, and any other potential obstructions mounted inboard of the shock body will prohibit the quick adjustment feature of this sway bar kit. OEM shocks, Koni Sport shocks, and any other shocks with OEM style brake line mounting brackets can still retain quick adjustment functionality when swapping the left shock to the right side, and vice versa (effectively eliminating the interference without having to grind off the brake line brackets completely). Please consult us before purchasing if you have any concerns with achieving quick adjustment for your application.

Confirmed quick adjustment with the following dampers: JRZ RS One, JRZ RS Two, JRZ RS Pro (w/ reservoir lines facing outward), Moton Clubsport (w/ reservoir lines facing forward), MCS 2-Way (w/ reservoir lines facing forward), Koni 3011 (w/ nitrogen fill connections facing outward), KW V3 & KW Clubsport (brake line brackets will need to be bent and sway bar arm installation position may require adjustment), Ohlins R&T/DFV (sway bar arm installation position may require adjustment), Penske 8300, Koni Sport (w/ left and right shocks swapped), OEM (w/ left and right shocks swapped)

We highly recommend starting with either the 0.188" (ideal for SCCA BS trim) or 0.250" (ideal for SCCA STR trim) wall center section. Alternate center sections may be purchased. Choose the "Conversion Kit" option for a full kit minus the center section. The Conversion Kit is for those who currently own a splined style S2000 front sway bar kit wishing to upgrade to our light weight, quick adjust billet aluminum arms and mounts. The donor center section must be 1.25" diameter, have 48 spline ends, and have a length of 36".

Karcepts S2000 Rear Sway Bar Kit:
$375 Shipped in the Continental U.S.

The Karcepts S2000 Rear Sway Bar Kit was designed specifically for square tire setups, but may additionally be used by anyone looking to tame down the on-throttle oversteer characteristics of their S2000. The large OEM rear S2000 sway bar is fun to drift around, but is not always the quickest way around course. This sway bar kit achieves near OEM stiffness on it's full stiff setting, yet allows you to soften the rear bar tremendously. The ability to run a softer rear bar still maintains mid-corner rotation benefits, yet helps put power down better by eliminating too much on-throttle oversteer. With 7 available stiffness settings, the perfect compromise can be found for every driving style.

  • Light weight, zero deflection solid sway bar mounts provided for precise feel
  • Low friction, lubrication free, dirt resistant, solid polymer bearings require no maintenance
  • Heat treated and plated steel alloy PTFE lined endlinks and all hardware included
  • 22mm (0.875") diameter high-grade spring steel splined center section for consistent rates
Sway Bar Rates via Puhn Calculation Method:
OEM S2000 Rear Sway Bars:
'00-'01 = 427 lbs/in
'02-'03 = 396 lbs/in
'04-'09 = 311 lbs/in
'08-'09 CR = 362 lbs/in

Popular MX-5 Rear Sway Bar Mod = 179 lbs/in

Karcepts S2000 Rear Sway Bar Kit - 0.095" Wall:
Hole 1 = 129 lbs/in
Hole 2 = 145 lbs/in
Hole 3 = 164 lbs/in
Hole 4 = 188 lbs/in
Hole 5 = 216 lbs/in

Anyone test fitted that front bar with the Ohlins DFV?

Also any rear bar sizing options that would let me get just a tad stiffer than OEM AP2 rear on stiffer setting but then down near the Miata bar stiffness on soft?

Thanks for the questions! Yes, actually, we have a few customers running our front bar on the Ohlins DFV's. I just updated the description above to include them. The only hole position that could cause any difficulty is hole #2 due to the endlink being closest to the shock body in this location. If any issues trying to get the endlink into or out of the #2 position, then you would simply have to re-position the sway bar arms further inward on the center section, and that will alleviate the interference.

We can provide a .120" wall rear center section, but they would currently be special order and will take approximately 6 weeks to get made up. Most of our customers seem to prefer the softer settings of the .095" rear bar, so we haven't even thought to offer a .120" center at this time. Just PM me if interested in moving forward with this option.

Puhn numbers if we were to offer the 0.120" wall rear bar:
Hole 1 = 149 lbs/in
Hole 2 = 168 lbs/in
Hole 3 = 190 lbs/in
Hole 4 = 217 lbs/in
Hole 5 = 250 lbs/in
Hole 6 = 287 lbs/in
Hole 7 = 327 lbs/in

I just found out we can also get .188" wall center sections made in this size rear bar.

Rates on those would be:
Hole 1 = 184 lbs/in
Hole 2 = 207 lbs/in
Hole 3 = 235 lbs/in
Hole 4 = 269 lbs/in
Hole 5 = 309 lbs/in
Hole 6 = 355 lbs/in
Hole 7 = 405 lbs/in

If we were to stock anything, this would be the next offering we would provide, since the .120" center is just a marginal gain in stiffness over our standard .095".

Wow those look amazing. I may be interested in the Karcepts S2000 Front Sway Bar Kit - 0.120" Wall down the road once my car is done being painted.

Front bars are back in stock after being cleaned out in February. We have a limited supply we can ship this week, then more will slowly trickle in over the following weeks.
