Default Drivers seat repair

Well, after 110K miles of my butt sitting in the seat, I have a split in the bottom perforated panel.

My first thought was to buy the lower seat cover from Honda but the best price I can find is almost $900 (ouch). Anybody know of a cheaper source to try?

I visited my local upholstery shop and he gave me one idea that was cheap but not a leather replacement. (The material while not leather looks exactly like it and I can have the seat and bolster repaired for about $100)

Any Thoughts or ideas? I am going to visit another shop that I have used in the past and see what they can do for me.

I say research the upholstery shop and look at their quality and craftsmanship...if they are good i would save up and redo both seats with your choice of fabric to keep the car uniform in look. If driver's lower is 100.00 then both seats might be less than 500.00

If it was worth the trip, I am there. Let me know what you think.

I want to get a set of covers BEFORE I get to this point. Bummer Capt'n.

May go Clazzio. Def keep us posted on what you did, who does the work, etc. because I to will be in the market for a little upholstery work fairly soon.
