Any word on Dillard?

Highland is pretty and all, but $150 for one night when I'll basically be there to eat and sleep is stupid.

I called again today and spoke with someone. They said they will call me back later today with rates. I'm 100% staying at Dillard house. I have had several people contact me who want to stay there also. Like I mentioned everyone can stay at Dillard or in Highlands. We usually have a big group and we can split up if need be. Once I have the rates locked in I will post it up.

Ordered new tires today, 4 Bridgestone RE11A's on their way from Tire Rack

Next up, New Motor Mounts, Brake flush, Oil, Diff & Tranny fluid changes. Check the rear axle cups.

Possibly a new Serpentine belt (still running the original belt at 13 years old) so more a Pro Active Preventative Measure than anything.
I can imagine you needing mounts or axles with the mileage you have
Sorry I meant can't. If your axle cups were worn you would definitely feel it. My mounts didn't fail until after 100k and many autocross events. The passenger side mount is the 1st to fail normally from what I have seen. You should be able to visually see if it's torn. It's easier to examine it up in the air

You can or can't??

Dillard for me. I really like driving warwoman early in the morning and after a good night sleep. Just my 2 cents.

Should have the rate for Dillard House tomorrow. They did call me back for more information. I'm hoping for $79 which is $10 off the normal rate.

I like the Dillard House. Cheap, quiet and the beds are comfy.

We could stay in Highlands as low as $99 per night but in order to get that we need numbers for the group rate.

Honestly it really doesn't matter to me where we stay Thursday evening.

Elliott is the Hotel SNOB so maybe he just needs to find an upgraded room at Dillard House, they have nicer rooms at a price.

Great news. I heard back from Dillard house today and we have a rate of $79 plus tax. When you call to book it's under "S2000 group" and we will be staying in The Medows as usual.

I don't get what's wrong with Dillard. It might be a bit rustic but it's clean. Now if one is referring to the food there, that's a different story. LOL! And besides, I like taking War Woman Rd first thing in the morning.
