1 YES!
2 YES!

I am regretting not going to see this one. I love this stuff and am very sad to see the space program destroyed by this evil regime.

Also: I have the inside scoop - a great place to see the launch - good parking and great vantage point.

got to get as close as you can....feeling 100,000 hp creating 4 hertz of bass at 4 miles and still feeling it rumbling through your chest is one of the coolest things to ever witness

I'd love to also....I've seen one and it is a great experience. Even at your closest, you are still miles away though. If you haven't seen the space center, it's worthwhile also, but a bit pricey.

The launch yesterday morning was spectacular! I'll see how this thread flows and when a date is settled I'll get a day off as all the remaing launces are work days 4 me.

BTW ...you guys want some impressive HP figures.....just check out how much HP the freakin' fuel pumps alone on this bird have! What a machine indeed. But my buddy 'Bama says we don't need a manned space presence.

I went to see a launch when I was 12... from what I remember it was still a good distance away. Im sure I would appreciate it more now.
