The reason for the July 29th postponement plus other info regarding the final Shuttle mission.
STS-134 (ISS assembly flight ULF6) is the 134th and final planned mission of the Space Shuttle Program which began service on 12 April 1981. This flight will deliver the Alpha Magnetic Spectrometer and the third ExPRESS Logistics Carrier to the International Space Station.
The mission will mark the final flight of Space Shuttle Endeavour and will be the final flight of the space shuttle program.
Endeavour's liftoff has been delayed until mid November 2010 at the earliest. This is due to the on going design changes in AMS-02. The experiment leader, Samuel Ting has decided to change the powerful superconducting magnet inside the spectrometer with an ordinary magnet.
