Ok.....I am pretty much ready, let's start talking meeting plans.

Provided sailor jerry stays backed out, I will be meeting the group at Cracker barrel at 50 and I75 for brealkfast. If for some reason Jerry is back in, we will meet you at SR 44 like last year.

At breakfast I want to talk to the group about a route I have layed out for Friday. It is an awsome route with many of the same roads that Scott visited last week. It is about 5 hours but technicaly we cant check in until 4pm at Fontana.

On our return trip on Sunday we could do the 28, Hellbender Warwoman road route as it is shorter and still way fun.

Comments and other input appreciated

...................................you will see on Thursday AM

The car looks so different on 17" wheels and it feels funny. I just need a few miles on this set up to feel comfortable.

I wanted those but $900+ for a set..........with all the car expenses (3K+ between the S & the kids cars) I have had this year I couldn't pull that trigger.

I am torn........I love new roads but honestly I look forward to the traditional Friday morning route as much as the Dragon. Could we do your route on a Saturday drive?
Yeah but we got up their early and then ended up sitting around bill's cabin most of the afternoon. I would rather put in some serious driving then check in and do the dinner that we all have paid for. the loop I am talking about is too far away from Fontana to do it on saturday.

Let's discuss when the group is together.

So, I am having an issue (amongst many I am trying to solve before Thu) with the schedule. My boss moved a stupid awards ceremony to Friday, so I'm going to have to creatively weasel out of that. (I had planned to "work from home" thu and fri as I have no vacation left (I'm going to Europe the weekend after the Dragon!)

Does everyone leave Thursday morning? Thursday midday? I have to replace a knock sensor, install a new radio, and put new brakes and rotors on in like 3 days! yikes!

We leave thursday morning early. If you did not want to drive up with the group I suppose you could leave mid-day and get up to Clayton later in the evening to be able to roll out with us in th AM on friday.

I know the suspence is killing you guys and........I know I promised Barry that I would not tell. But. alas I cannot hold back any longer. Remember, he just flat out fell in love with the Nitto brand that came with his 18" Axis. Trying to find a 17" for his Ap2V2 OEM's was a challange as he wanted an aggressive tread design but also one that would grip the dusty road conditions of the "shoulders" sometimes encountered up at the Dragon. Hence, he bought and mounted the following Nitto's ......
