ETR Autocross June 4th
Thanks to the awesome Dragon run last weekend, I'm completely hooked on driving my S like a maniac. Next cure: Autocross! So unless something unusual happens, I'll definitely be up there on Saturday. I was just wondering if anyone other than Jason is going to show up. I'd like to meet some of the other S2000 owners from around the Tri-Cities!
Also I wanted to ask advice on what class to run in. In the Tarheel SCCA Club I ran with, I trophied out of Novice at my 2nd Autocross. However, it sounds like the Novice class up there is a lot more extensive. I've done about 5 Autocrosses and a Track school in my Civic, but this will be my first event in the S. Jason, you've seen my driving, think I should run regular A stock or Novice?

David,
I just wanted to let you know that the Porsche Club is putting on an Auto-X this weekend. The lot is much bigger than the lot we used in Elizibethton. This should be lots of fun. I hope you check it out.

Unfortunately I'm down in Atlanta this weekend hanging out with relatives down here. We did take the S2000 up to the mountains in northern Georgia yesterday though, it was almost as good as the Dragon and with a lot less traffic! My cousin that got me into all this high performance driving couldn't believe how well the car handled, he'd never been in one before.
I'll be headed up to the tri-cities tomorrow, but then Monday I fly out to San Francisco for two weeks. I won't even be in town for the next ETRSCCA event *sigh*. Oh well, gotta pay for the car

David I know how the paying for the car thing goes. As you know that Im now at Maxwell AFB in southern AL. Got to pay for the car and the racing some how. But Im going to miss at least 4 events before I can run again then its time to see how the autocrossing goes in TX.
