gonna join the air force
So yeah, Ive decided that im going to join the Air Force...im tired of tennessee, tired of doing nothing, and they've got some kickass jobs id be interested in. talked with the recruiter...was cool as hell, didnt pressure me or nothing. and right now is a good time for change. so im gonna do it, ill keep yall posted on how everything will be going..I take the ASVAB (is that it?) next thursday and going into meps...great shit...but it'll be a lil while till I get to go off to boot depending on my job choices and when they're gonna be able to get me through...boot is in san antonio and no telling what school im gonna go to.
I respect that. I'm glad there are people who will voluntarily do this.

If the recruiter promises something, get in a written contract. My wife's recruiter lied to soooo many people soooo often and sooooo badly he was booted from the USAF. he left her at the MEPS station because he changed her career field to be a cop and she wouldn't sign.
Don't join security forces. (a cop) You'll thank me later
Everyone goes to basic at Lackland, and there are a lot of tech schools there.

hey brother,
congrats on your choice to serve this country. and thank you for doing so. i just got out of the navy. so if you have any questions about anything just ask, if i can't help you i have a lot of air force friends that i can call.

my choices that i wouldnt mind getting:
loadmaster
nuclear weapons
aerospace physiologogy
ordanance systems
two guys i went to school with for years are in the air force and ive talked with them alot...and the recruiter is cool, they said "look im not going to bullshit you and tell you you're going to get the job you want" "and im also not going to chase your ass and convince you to join, I only want people joining that want to join on their own accord"
