you think that guy who did yours could do such a thing (flare) I like the look if the wheels are right.
Yeah, that shouldn't be a problem. Just run the 235 front and 255 rears and you won't need a flare. It will be safe.

Rolling is no big deal. Your car will look so much nicer and you will gain more track on the car (better handling). You are spending all this money on wheels and tires to make it look nicer, then you might as well pony up $200 more to have a professional roll your fenders to have them look flush. It's not like I'm advocating a stupid wide wheel with low low offsets and a bicycle tire. That is stupid imo. Performance above all else for me; at least in a sports car. While your package isn't the best performance package, Alex, it isn't bad. You are still going up in tire width.
I'm shooting for some cross between stupid wide, but won't rub when I make a turn into an incline to point where it wants to rip my #@%@# fender off again.

235 fronts are gonna be hard to find in a decent tire - I'm sold on the RE11's btw having put them on my oem's.

Fyi, your car may be slightly more prone to oversteer with the package I suggested because you are decreasing the tire stagger from stock by 10mm. It's not much, but I just wanted you to be aware of it.

I don't track it or drive crazy, I appreciate the input!

this is all hypothetical anyways.

RE-11's are the best performance street tire you can buy for the S imo.

You can go with the 245 / 255 then. You may want to get a stiffer front sway bar though because the car will be prone to oversteer at the limit. Yeah, that's more money, but you will also be increasing performance.

Is your car lowered at all? You also have to consider alignment. I keep my track alignment on my car because I don't really drive it that much on the street. I'm running -2.2 camber front and -2.7 rear. The more camber you run the more clearance you will get from the fender, but you will also get more inside tire wear if you only drive it on the street.

yeah it is still lowered a tad - we raised it up when I went back to oem's. I could get that gendron front sway bar

You don't need to track it or drive crazy to want a neutral handling car. You may want some predictability if you ever get into an emergency situation. Most people don't know how to handle oversteer.

Hypothetical? Shit those wheels look sick. You should pull the trigger.

Yes! Your car would look sick and you will love how it handles. I can help you dial in your compression / rebound settings also. As far as height goes, you probably want 4" from the ground to the jacking points.
