UPS delivered it Friday only to leave (just) paper on the door to sign for delivery.
Signed it. Found the pipes waiting for me upon arriving home from work today. The box had three holes in it I could have stuck my head through. Thought the worst upon seeing it.![banghead.gif](https://www.s2ki.com/forums/images/smilies/banghead.gif)
Lucky, lucky me! Especially for a Monday. Everything intact, all parts included.
THE absolute worst packing job I've ever seen on a delivered item. It looked like a tornado had developed inside the box at some point - hard to tell if that was the way it left the factory or happened in transit. I can't belive there are no scars or dents. Truly defies logic.![freak1.gif](https://www.s2ki.com/forums/images/smilies/freak1.gif)
Gonna try to put it on tonight. Shouldn't be very difficult. Pretty straight foward install. Have I just jinxed myself?

Well it looks like some smart ass snuck into the garage and tig welded the cat nuts on right before I started.
Stopped by wally world on the way home today for some liquid wrench. Gonna let that soak in overnight. Had to work late today so I'll have to visit a Honda shop tomorrow for new nuts. After whaling the hell out of the old ones last night (with little success) I'm sure the threads will be trashed (Helms manual calls for new ones anyway). Found an excellent "how to" thread from Billman concerning the install - of course AFTER I started.

Can't wait to see Robin!
Ill be in Knoxville this coming weekend if anyone wants to meet up for awhile on Sat evening. I began my job last Wednesday and genuinely love working and doing what I do. It's a very small company and it has a very "family" atmosphere, which makes it a lot of fun. Also nice that some stingy rules of corporations don't really apply to us. I feel so fortunate just to have a job, much less one that I really enjoy. It's good to be back in Ohio but I do miss it down in TN too. Hope to see some of you soon!
