Default Two nagging problems solved?

I've been reading threads for some time now concerning the problems of boost in the crankcase and gunk in the intake. The system was not designed for FI so under boost the PCV valve can be overpowered by the intake resulting in boost going somewhere it shouldn't be. When the system works as designed oil vapors and crud from the crankcase are returned to the intake to be recycled which results in gunking up the intake over time.

My solution is a combination of several different ideas. I owe a big thanks to Dave/repiv/Xviper, Chris (Slows2k), Bob A (SD), Sgt B, and anyone else whose threads I read or bugged with my questions or concerns.

I installed a Greddy catch can in the Comptech airbox and ran a hose to one side from the existing PCV line. The other side runs from the catch can to the intake. I installed a Supra PCV valve embedded in the hose a couple of inches in front of the intake nipple. The vent on the front of the valve cover is vented to the atmosphere through a small K&N filter and the nipple on the blower tube is plugged.

Now under boost the PCVs should shut and the vapor should exit through the front vent. When the valves are open the vapor should be collected in the catch can.

Questions, critiques, and comments are welcome. I'll check the catch can and filter periodically to see how much stuff is collected.

Thanks. I'll see how it works out. I can return it to stock in about an hour unless I have to get a longer hose.
