auto theft
Do those wheels have a serial number on them? Noah may be right -- why would some jackass put staggered wheels on an Eclipse, if they weren't "free" for him.
Somebody needs to nail this guy.

i spotted the car in Schertz, TX.
Well sorry about the theft. Like you, I had my factory AP2 V2 jacked from my S almost two years ago. Its a terrible feeling, and embarrasing to have a car on brick in your own driveway. I was fortunate enough to keep my seats.
I think the worst part was that I was out of my car for 2 weeks while I waited for replacements. No stocks wheels in the required offset. Luckily I have car rental on my insurance.
Our experienced bring a couple thing to mind.
Although we see that Eclipse looking rediculous with, more than likely your wheels, with out a unique marking or serial number, there is no way to PROVE that they are yours.
Secondly, if the police lifted any fingerprints from the outside of the car, those can't be used either, since you park your car in a public lot.
Third, when you do get new wheels, I recommend marking them in some way, ie stamping last four of you ss#, take a pic of the stamping and keep it somewhere safe. That goes for home electronics or valuables also, inventory all unique serial numbers. It gives the police and your insurance something to work with. They got us once, we gotta be proactive to give us better chances to catch em if they try again.
Lastly, I find it pretty coincidental that those wheels turned up for sale, a couple of days after your theft. As did a set of AP2 V2 two days following my theft, on this very forum.........but as I said before, we can KNOW that those are the wheels, but we have to be able to PROVE that they are the wheels. Learn from our bad experiences. There's a saying:
Fool me once, shame on you.
Fool me twice, shame on me.

Sadly this will only increase as the punk ass car thiefs that use to own civics/integras make their way into s2000's.
Time for someone to develope a slash proof top.

Wonder how much that would have been for Honda to engineer.
