is this your first standard...im guessing?

No sir, I just never got around to trying to push it out of gear without engaging the clutch. That always sounded like a bad idea to me.

it can be pushed out of gear without pressing clutch... I would always do it to my friends when i was passenger and they started to drive like douchebags or trying to race after drinking...

As long as the RPM's are right it should come out of every gear quite easily, you can also shift into gear without pushing the clutch if the RPM's are right. Don't do it though because you'll put a lot of extra wear on your synchros.

Yeah, it's actually extremely easy to pull out of gear when there is a light load on the transmission...
