Compression Test
Hey guys I want to get a compression test done. I was thinking about going to Fernandez or Gunn, but not sure how much they would charge. Any places around town yall have went to? And if so how much did they charge?

Sounds like a good idea. I'll be heading to Auto Zone after work tonight. Is this a tool you can puchase or just rent?
I would recommend disabling the fuel injectors before doing a compression test. This can skew the numbers if you don't.
Probably pull the ECU fuse or find the fuse for the injectors before you do it.
I used to pull the ECU fuse on the CRXs when doing that before.

The deluxe Auto Zone compression tester has a variety of different length attachments that thread into the sparkplug bores. If these are not tightened sufficiently or you overtighten the test plug you'll risk leaving the test plug in the engine. Definitely pull the ECU/injector and fuel pump fuses. To get a more accurate reading you can also attach your battery to another car, preferably running. Otherwise a low battery will crank the engine pretty slowly by the time you test the 4th cylinder. Post up your results.
