Default Dyno at boost logic ATX?

Next Thurs/Fri I'm going back to Boost Logic to get VAFC tuned. I was wondering if anyone else wants to tag along and dyno their car. If so, let me know ASAP so I can shoot them an email and make sure they are up for it and have time.

$75 for 3 pulls with wideband
$250 for AFR tuning + dyno time

Their garage is full of some NICE rides as well as some record setting Supras.

Does protech have a dyno? They have really good online ratings. I might have to call and see what their prices are. My SBC RPF1's should be shipping out this week and i wanna get those mounted first.

I havent seen your s2k in a while! Do you have some top secret project going on in your garage?

Protech has a dynojet.

I was working on setting up my V1 hard wire..but it's just been too hot to do anything else.

I'm going to changed the oil soon. Since the lexus dealer where I got my car at put 10w-20 oil..And I'm going to change the park plus just for piece of mind.

Protech has somebody working there who gives the worst customer service I've ever seen. Being in customer service, as an automotive manufacturer rep for 7 years, I can clearly tell when someone is trying to do a good job and when someone just doesn't care at all. I feel I'm not going all that far in my saying that the guy I met there to buy my Flash Pro and K&N intake from should be taken out back and beaten with the metal end of a gardening a hose.

The jack ass was on the phone forever, which I let slide due to as far as I know he had some important call going down. However, when the tard got off the phone after over 20 minutes (yes I timed it as I was trying to get to work pretty soon) he really got on my nerves. He decided he needed to EMAIL SOMEONE WHILE I STOOD THERE TRYING TO GIVE HIM MY CREDIT CARD. I politely, but very clearly, stated that I needed to pay for my parts and get myself to work.

I actually had to tell the idiot that the person in front of him was about to leave and not pay for parts they ordered for me. He continued to email some dude until I told him "Trust me the customer in front of you is MUCH more important to help quickly than the one on the internet waiting on an email". To which he finally came over and slowly got me out the door.

I will NEVER give any business to them and any business I can take away from them is well deserved. If they were not the only Hondata Authorized dealer in town, thus I got a warranty from Hondata, I would have never called them at all.

Best part was as I was leaving he actually had the balls to say "If you have any questions give our tuner a call". I mumbled to myself as I walked out the door, "yeah when hell freezes over I'lll call".

I find it impossible to believe that the people that run the shop (who this might have been I guess) aren't aware that their customer service is utterly pathetic and someone needs to be slapped and fired. If only I'd gotten his name I'd be more than happy to share. Despite that lack of info I'd have to say a place is only as good as the weakest link there. What if he's not the worst there?! Now that's a terrifying thought....

I'd say go to Boost Logic for a tune or JC Auto Spec for service and simple bolt ons. Thus far I've had nothing but great experiences with them both.

Went back to Boost Logic the other day to get tuned. Their shop is pretty epic. They manufacture kits and do a LOT of R&D on just about everything. They dont advertise locally, mainly because they stay very busy with customers from all over the states. There are 3 cars in their shop from Panama right now. Justin Nenni gave me a tour of their shop and hes a super cool guy and has a very impressive background. They are doing nothing short of amazing work at BL, and I would think that if anyone has the money, BL would be able to do some amazing things to an S.

As far as my tune went, my car just isnt producing fantastic results, but I dont believe that any combination of parts or tuning equipment is going to get any better results.
