F1 is back!
Any F1 fans?
Formula One racing is back this week! McLaren is back and looking strong while Williams struggles. Honda may have problems this time out due to continuing problems with engine reliability, especially in light of the 2-race weekend engine endurance rules for '05. Coupled with lower downforce and harder tires that have to last qualifying and the entire race distance this will be an interesting season. Watch out for Renault this season, they will not want to take a back seat to last year's surprise second place Honda team! Of course there are new rules, new team owners, a new team, new drivers and plenty of drivers that swapped teams in the off-season.
F1 racing is live on Speed Saturday night at 8 PM.

I'm a big F1 fan, and I am predicting Ferrari to dominate once again this year! My favorite team is Ferrari [I'm Italian] but it's nice to see some of the other teams challenge them and even win at times. In time, I also think Montoya will be on the top of the podium!

They've got to get rid of the tire rules. Everyone's tires (especially Montoya's) were falling apart. I am interested to see what BAR and Ferrari look like with fresh engines this weekend. Down with Renault and McLaren.
I just wish we could go back to the old rules where there was no parc ferme. Imagine how well BAR could do now with so many Honda guys working on the team. Remember when Ferrari would go back to work after qualifying, get the car perfectly tuned, set a perfect fuel strategy, and kill everything in sight. I do love Ferrari, and also BAR, but I also feel that if a team has a compeditive advantage like better engineers and mechanics, that is part of competition. Let them actually display their brilliance.
I am looking forward to the viewing this weekend though...

WTF? I knew Renault was expected to be fast, but DAMN! They've gone 1-3 again...for now.
Qualifying Round 1:
1. Alonso
2. Trulli
3. Fisichella
Let's just hope that BAR and Ferrari have something up their sleeves for tomorrow's qualifying 2/race setup...
