Default My bad launch technique

I figured out why part of my gtech times were crappy.. (I ran almost a 5.9 today)--- When I'm launching at ~7000rpms, I'm getting a lot of wheel spin-- the gtech starts... I loose around .8 seconds spinning before actually "going"... I'm running 38psi cold in the rears. I could probably drop the rear pressure for better times (32psi'ish), and/or perfect my launch a bit better. I find that as I relase the clutch, I'm WOT too soon, raising the RPMs to probably 8k before fully engaged (even though its a faaast release). Jumpy I guess, but I certainly see the gtech counting before I'm moving. Need to work on that I guess.

That's way too much pressure...try 20 lbs., keeping in mind that all this "testing" will accelerate your tire wear anyway.

I have a new set of rears sitting in my garage... thats why I'm "testing"... cuz they are going on soon...but I wanna have a little fun, and learn how to launch on the old ones.
