Default personalized plates

If anyone is interested in personalized plates, Here is a link to get personalized plates. You print out a form in acrobat reader, and then mail it in with your three choices.

My three choices are (1) "YLW*SUB" (2) "*YLW-SUB" (3) "SUB"
Other thoughts are "MY SUB" "Y-SUB" "THE SUB" etc. etc.

What do you think?

Just my opinion, but I'm not wild about personalized plates. Draws unnecessary attention to a vehicle, which can be undesirable when you're speeding or committing other "socially undesirable" acts in your car. Piss somebody off, say for doing one of your infamous death-defying passes, and it's much easier for a motorist to get your license plate at a glance than w/ some random mix of #'s and letters. I also have a gut feel that having a personalized plate may convey at attitude to cops, which could result in less leniency.

My $.02 (may not even be worth that much)

I think it depends on what you get as to how people will react. David's suggestions are fine as they are not bragging about him or his car but making an inside joke. The ones that piss people off or get the cops attentions are those like C U ATR, FAST S2K, or like I have seen on two women's cars, FOXY and SEXY. Both cars had been keyed.

I thought about getting S2KW for mine but I decided against it when I when I thought that I might sell it. Even though I am keeping it now, I think I will just stock with my regular plates and spend the money on a Voodoo knob and other gooodies.

So I guess IH8-BMW or IH8-Z3S would be blatantly obvious. Or how bout 4U2NVY, GR8-M8R, BOOGR, I can go on and on.
Just kidding. I don't like them on my car either. I like to read them. I just feel it invites a key or other vandalism.
