Default Rough shifting/ low pedal pressure after slave cylinder change

I recently changed my clutch slave cylinder and noticed that the shifting has been rough and i dont have good clutch pedal pressure. The pedal also makes squeaky noise. Already tried bleeding like Billman suggested. Anyone an expert on this in Austin area that can help? Thanks

When you switch it out, you probably got air in the system. It has happened to me. I ended up having my wife in the car, pumping the clutch as I filled the reservoir and watched the fluid drain until the pedal felt solid.

Was the replacement new? Probably a faulty part.
