Default 113 in a 65

Well I was cruisin down I45 N. to get back home from the GTG and I was messin' with some Nissan which was not worth messin with and my radar goes off! I immediately slow down to the speed limit and keep driving for about 4 miles. I though I was free. I thought wrong.

I see the DPS officer right behind me! He sits behind me for a little while then the light come on. I pull over and he asks me to step out of the car, pats me down, asks if I had weapons, and all the cop questions. It was funny that he couldn't unlock my door before he did the search. I tried to help but he told me to stand back. Then finally he got fed up and asked me to slowly unlock it. Oh, and he asks me like 5 times if the car is mine. He just couldn't believe that it was. I guess a guy my age shouldn't have a good job.

So he writes me the ticket for 113 in a 65 and lets me go. As I walk back to my car, he says, "Thanks for being courteous." I didn't say anything and left.

Well, if anyone has any recommendations, I would really appreciate it. Any help out there?

This MIGHT affect your chances at getting on the S.O.
Then again it might improve your chances.

Juan
You're lucky he didn't arrest you. I thought anytime you go over 100mph, they can impound your car and arrest you. Can anyone confirm this?
