OMG! 113 in a 65 would get you a firm ass kicking in North Carolina. Well, not really, but anything over 20mph is automatically considered wreckless driving here and the trooper has the choice to actually arrest you!

A friend of mine is a State Trooper here and actually clocked a "crotch rocket" doing 130+ on the highway. He turned around and hauled all he could and the bike actually pulled over for him. He even told me that the bike had such a lead on him that he could have easily turned off and he would have been home free. Instead, he got busted for a DUI and 130 something in a 70mph zone! A night in jail and a huge rate increase on his insurance for the next several years! OUCH! Bear in mind that North Carolina has very strict DUI/DWI laws. Something like a point 2 will get you with a violation.

As for that ticket, damn. . .chicken scratch at it's finest.

Hope you are able to put this behind you soon with no surprises.

Doesn't matter, the judge can just tell the cop to correct the info. That WILL NOT get you a dismissal. I've seen too many instances where this happened in court. Don't bank on it...just get yourself some legal counsel. Call the DA's office and see if they have any recommendations on lawyers....(in case you didn't know, it's just a big old boys club). I don't think you'll get it dismissed considering the speed you were over, but you should be able to get it knocked down to maybe a 79 in a 65.

Juan,

i don't think you will get off because he did not write s2000.

everytime that i have receive a ticket, the officer always reviews all the information on the ticket with me, then ask if the information is correct and ask me to sign the ticket.

options are to get a lawyer and fight it or just paid it.

at least you did not go to jail
