In my opinion the J's racing CF intake is the best looking one of them all.
that skinny pencil-d*ck looking crap? You need something bigger with more substance like the ASM dry carbon intake like I have

you should test-drive the Mugen S. The Mugen ECU + cooling mods has made heat soak a thing of the past (it runs like it's cold even in our 90-deg weather). That might be something I would seriously consider if you're going to continue to run the ARC intake.

Don't know if you have the balls to cut into your hood, but I would build a heatshield around the intake, let it sit flush with the hood, and cut a small hole in the hood where the airflow can run directly into the intake. Heat soak will be reduced (gone if you add the Mugen ECU).

You hit 213whp with headers and vafc tune?Im confused.Shouldn't blue tracy hit more than 215whp then?Must be a really conservative tune.Crank it up Tom.

I was at 198 w/ just a cold air and a tuned VAFC. I hit 213 with I/H/E combo plus the vafc. Vafc's tuned are awesome power adders. Yea Tom just has a conservative tune on the ITB's but has way more potential. But yea dude dont underestimate the VAFC .. Ive seen ppl on here with dyno sheets hit 230 to the wheels with bolt ons. Just make sure the person tuning the car is great working with vtec.
