you dont have to cut into the air box, theres a few ways of doing it, ive seen some people cut a hole on the left side of the air box and run a hose to the left fender, theres a hole that kind of leads to the fender well. the way i ran mine is through a hole that i cut out right in front of the air box air inlet opening, kinda like the one the OP made on his first (failed) attempt at making a snorkel. i think i used a 3 inch flex hose. i have an air compressor and i shot some air in front of the bumper where the hose is and plenty of air flow going through the hose into the fipk. for best results i plan to slap on an aut cooling plate, to guide the air flow directly into the fipk box. if anybody wants to see some pics let me know, pm your number and ill text you some

i have a spare intake box collectnig dust that ill let go CHEAP if any one wants to try this
