If you get a ticket for no front license plate, just do what I did when I got a citation, tape the license plate to your bumper and snap a quick Polaroid and take it to your court date and *POOF* Bye, Bye ticket!

The last ticket I got was also 70 in a 60 on 610 by the Astrodome. These guys need something better to do.
70 in a 60? Joe, who was driving you car? It sure was not you.

This doesn't work in Houston anymore. The judge at my last courtroom visit enforced a ZERO tolerance policy and everybody had to pay the fine.

Yep, it was me. I must have been sensing a "disturbance in the force" and kept my speed down. It just wasn't low enough for the man.

I was driving home to Beaumont from College Station in my last roadster and was rolling through Houston at about 2 a.m. When I saw the flashing lights behind me I was SURE the Houston cop would bid me a safe journey once he figured out I wasn't the DWI he was looking for. SOB wrote me up for 70 mph in a 60 (Oooo... 70 mph on I-10 - I'm a menace to society!) AND for having no front plate. I was not rude or uncooperative... Man, I'm used to getting no mercy from smalltown cops, but this guy was as chickensh!t as any podunk barney fife. Musta been quota time or something.

So, the front plate's staying on the S, for now...
Hey your from Beaumont. I live in Lumberton and go to Lamar. How long have you have your car?

I have been harassed so many times in my eclipse about no front plate that I decided to keep the plate on my S as its not worth all that trouble just to look a little better.......

Let me guess here... did you used to drive a yellow S, traded in for new blue? I believe I cross paths with you on an almost daily basis. I picked up the S on labor day weekend. I formerly drove a red MR2 Spyder. I work in Silsbee and I often spot the blue (yellow) S both coming and going.

That you?
