exactly no car is going to be perfect its first year of production
with all euro cars these days, doesn't matter if its the first or last year of the model's production...

Yup, even the m version on the z roadsters are always last to release.

In 1994 I bought my 86 Corolla GTS twin-cam for $3K

My seats had a pump level for lower lumbar support, sun roof, and slammed to the ground. Thing bounced like a Mexican's low rider.
Ended up being a money pit. Couldn't find an oil leak, never got the proper alignment, and sun roof leaks FTL. Too bad I have no pics.

That is too bad. Those things look cool and you would get some good cash for one now since the drift craze.

Sold it to my friend for $1K. No A/C, inside tire wear, and needed a new clutch.

I had tri spoke rims that remind me of Godmachine's Advans. Back then wide wheels that stuck out pass the fenders were cool and I remember wanting KMC wheels. 2 12" subs in my truck blasting Miami booty music.

Those were the days...

Ironically, you would get more money for it today then you did back then. Crazy isn't it?

Alpina is like Mugen and AMG, not from the factory.

BMW has earlier turbo'd cars like their BMW 2002 Turbo from the 1970s

Many of the BMW race motors in the 1970s were turbo'd. And for BMW aficionados, the all-time greatest BMW motor was turbocharged as well:

Paul Rosche (legendary BMW engine designer) designed a small 1.5L 4-cyl motor for BMW F1 in the 1980s that was turbo'd and good for 1500hp.
