why would the car handle wierd with 17s? I thought they came stock with 17s. Yeah they do stick out of the fender a little, and by running camber, you mean so it is somewhat diagonal and goes into the fender, but because of that you need to roll the inner part of the fender to make up for that diagonal? Hmm.

The only real issue I'm worried about is that the tire sits almost entirely flush up against the edge of the wheel, normally the tire has about a 1cm gap in between the edge of the tire and the edge of the wheel. Is that something to worry about? Like the tire might slip off the wheel
The 04 and up was 17's and they changed the suspension geometry to accommodate that. Your car stock is rolling 16's

don't you have an advantage riding 17's since you could run meatier tires like 265 and the such? or could you run a some fat meat on the stock 16s?

So of course i get ****ed over on the way home after doing the wheel swap with 9kredlinnin. First I get pulled over 3 times by the SAME cop for not having a liscense plate yet ( had car for 2 days ), he somehow managed to forget he pulled me over twice I guess. Then I guess my STOCK s2000 is a ricer magnet so I get a ford taurus fly by me 1/4 in my lane and then slows down in front of me.

He stays in front of me the entire way home and takes my exit, and guess what, just my luck this fukin ricer his ENTIRE back bumper, I shit you not, his ENTIRE back bumper fell off, right in front of me, and going 45-50mph in a one lane exit lane, of course, I plow right over it, get home, paint missing off front bumper and a piece of the underbody is hanging off, the little leather looking stuff. It's dark didn't feel like analyzing for other damages, but I guess I got off good. Sad part is I don' think he even noticed / cared that his entire back bumper fell off exposing his fake dual exhaust mufflers.

This is the second time this has happened, before, a ricer's muffler fell off and I ran over it popping my tire and effing up my wheel.

Sad thing the car has managed to have perfect paint and body for 9 years up until now I had it for 2 days and got lucky with a fag ricer with a bumper that falls off.

when you get a chance take pics so we can assess the damage and Houston has some great bodyshops for cheap that do A class work.

What does more tire do for a stock car on the street ? I run 255 rear tire and Im sure I could push it higher. In your logic a donk should outrun a lambo on the track since it got hella tire

Yes. that is my logic.

so there was more damage than I thought. on the bottom of the left side skirt, theres a long white gash from where the bumper probably flew out from under the car. sigh...

Do you NEED a roll cage to use a harness with aftermarket seats on the s2000 or is there something people mount it to without having a roll cage?
