How can I tell if a wheel will fit on the car with no problems, because that guy wants to trade wheels, and I like the wheels, but on the rear wheels the tire sits almost entirely flush with the wheel, with no space, like it kind of extends past the wheel edge. And the rear wheels also extend past the fenders and stick out a little. Anyway I can tell if it will be ok on the car and what not? He doesn't know the offset or anything. Wheels are on the car.

That thread doesn't answer my question, I read through that one already.

I'm assuming the wheel is either 17x7.5 or 17x8.5, but the offset is +38, was wondering if that would be a big issue. Stock suspension

the wheels are already on a S, so it will fit. Depends if you like that look or not. You can run more camber to tuck'em behind the fender, but not everyone likes aggressive camber setups. Most likely you gonna have to roll fenders and relocate bumper tabs, especially if you are dropping the car.

then they should fit. do you like the flush look? with a drop on your car they wont fit without running aggresive camber. even at that you might b pushing it

why would the car handle wierd with 17s? I thought they came stock with 17s. Yeah they do stick out of the fender a little, and by running camber, you mean so it is somewhat diagonal and goes into the fender, but because of that you need to roll the inner part of the fender to make up for that diagonal? Hmm.

The only real issue I'm worried about is that the tire sits almost entirely flush up against the edge of the wheel, normally the tire has about a 1cm gap in between the edge of the tire and the edge of the wheel. Is that something to worry about? Like the tire might slip off the wheel

no. thats just the "style" now. if you plan on keepin it stock height then i wouldnt worry bout it. with a drop i dont think you would b able 2 fit those wheels without rollin the fenders and runnin mad camber which will wear your tires down super crazy fast.
