Eric who works for John Eagle reccomended Malones over their own body shop at John Eagles Acura. The color match on my sebring was done perfecctly. The only thing I noticed were a few specs of dust under the clear, but you have to look really closelt to see them. These speccs I think are only noticable because sebring is such a light color.

Okay... Spoke to the guy at John Eagle Honda. He looked at the damage and gave me a quote both for repair and for replacement of the bumper. Basically we are talking $490 versus $650. He said that a repair is possible, and he would actually prefer it since the damage is not that big (nothing ripped/shredded to pieces) and he prefers to keep original parts on a car (at least you know that it fits). he was quite confident/insistent that it woud be as good as new, so I guess I can be talked into "just" getting the bumper repaired... Unless one of you has an argument against it that has not been brought up?
I'm equally confident (or not) in both place to do the repair. Goodson Honda is certified as a primary repair center for Farmers Insurance, so they don't need to call in an adjuster and can just do the repair themselves. JEH would have to call the adjuster in before they could do any work. Both places are more or less an equal distance away from my house, so the "convenience factor" would be the same; tilting towards Goodson because they don't need to deal with the adjuster. Both places guarantee their work (body/paint) -- whatever that means.
I'll probably bring it to Goodson, even if it is "their" shop. Comments?

Goodson North (just south of Beltway 8 on 45) did my repair from my bumper incident (backed into the house) and the arrow in the door incident. You can not tell anything was done to the car - I even had it in to look at trading it for a different vehicle and their appraisers did not notice the body/bumper work.

Just got a call from Goodson. Seems that when the $%@#! hit me, she also ripped off a couple of brackets from the bumper inside. They can't fix it, so it will have to replaced.
I guess I should be happy about getting a completely new part. Then again, I guess I will definitely not be able to pass the car off as "accident-free" anymore. Sucks.
Any suggestion what I should ask for from the insurance company for compensation, in addition to fixing the car, of course?

Got the car back from Goodson today. They did a decent job (even got Bruce's seal of approval); the paint matches quite well. Now the battle for my "diminshed value" claim begins...
As an aside, Goodson had three different S2000s in their body shop today. Not a good sign at all.

Just wanted to add my $.02.
I have a buddy that works at Miller's and they did an awesome job on my rear bumper and trunk lid. For those of you that knew what my trunk looked like, it now looks flawless.
