Logon to www.progressive.com and see what it will cost you. I still pay 300 less then you for the S per year. Online qoutes are free, so you have nothing to lose.

Progressive came in at $564.00 for the S2000, so they were not an option. Are you living in Harris County?

Good news for you, Ulrich - our (Republican) state legislators and Tx Dept of Insurance passed a mandatory rate rollback for homeowners ins. companies. Allstate was ordered to cut back their rates by 8.7% this fall so you may see a rebate check come in. (They were ordered to go down 18% but settled on 8.7%.)

Farmers was ordered a 17.5% rollback and State Farm 12%. Unfortunately they are both appealing.
