Met up w/ the austin folks that are rippin high 13's.. Joe, Jose, and May from SA..

it was about 40 degree's low humidity.. but the track was damn slick.. its like the exact oppisite of HRP.

I was dropping at 6k and getting wheels spin & wheel hop all the way up to 8k+ each time. i'd have to wait for traction to redline it.. i'm pretty sure that killed at least .2 of my times. dropped the PSI in my tires from 34 to 30 to 28.. didn't help.. bald Kumo's + the weather&track=no traction.

my best run of the night 14.5@ 96.89mph but horrible 60ft..

my best was 2.2 on a 14.7 run.. same wheel spin prob.. any idea whats causing the wheel hop? instead of just spinning? tire pressure was even.

This will give you idea of how slick.. i was chirping 3rd gear every time.. last run against Jose.. chirped into 4th!?!

i could drop at 5k and not bog just spin up past vtec.. might be a good track to go to next time ya'll do runs.. less risk on the diff.

Joe ran a 14.00, May 14.3, Jose wasn't even launching and ripped a 14.6.. he was still spinng the tires doing off idle launchs.

Jose's Intake, and Mugen headers make a hell of a difference in top end.. our last run i beat him to the 60ft.. and he passed me by the 1/4.

i need to get Injen Intake improved Joe/Rasputins trap speeds by 5mph, as well as May's there both right around 100mph.

anyway it was a good night.. i'm pretty confident now i can rip a low 14 w/ traction on the street.

oh yeah.. i tried a run w/ the air box off.. it killed my trap speed.. 14.9 @ 93mph. all the rest were 96/95.

i'm gonna wait to go back till i have intake & tread.
