Before you throw $5000+ on a supercharger pickup a Hondata FlashPro and get a Gernby road tune. This lowers the VTEC engagement to 3600 rpm and provides astounding midrange power. Won't be supercharger quick but you'll notice. And the car stays stock. Needs a high flow cat. Mine is the Berk 63mm version in front of the Tanabe Medalion Touring dual exhaust.

While I appreciate the suggestion, the supercharger has got to be done because that power level just won't cut it. My previous build was a 6.0 LS FD and even that was starting to feel slow when I sold it. It's about $10,000 for the 30 mm supercharger kit, clutch, exhaust, radiator and fans, and gauges . But I'm debating whether or not that's going to be enough power because I'd like to get in the 500 range, so I've been talking to mase engineering about getting one of their turbo kits, but no decision has been made yet. Either way I'm pretty particular and anal about things so if I do do it it will be OEM clean as far as appearance and function .

First time hearing of them, that's some pretty equipment there, I usually don't consider money over my desires for the finished product, but I may need to bust out the calculator on this one

Started work on my headlights today while the wheels are off at the bodyshop. Luckily they didn't need any wet sanding, cut a medium cut compound, fine cut compound, polish, and wax, they came out great. UPS delivered my front tires, still waiting on the rears and my 15mm spacers. Went ahead a machine polished the front end again to make it really pop

You're gonna need a higher capacity fuel pump, of course. The fuel system on the 2006+ cars may complicate a supercharger as it's returnless. I'm sure folks have done it. Keep us up to date on the mechanicals. The cosmetics look great!

Thanks, I figure it needs to look good to justify the cash under the hood, after the cars sitting back on the ground the only thing it needs is paintless dent repair for one little ding I found the other day then I'll start gathering the important stuff.
