Default Radio Code

I have the "true" radio code now. but when i input the 5 digit number i get an error code. Now my display show "ERR 4". What is the correct key strokes to begin and input the radio code?

I dunno what you mean by "true" radio code, but if you have an OEM HU just enter the numbers of the code. That should be it., at least for the Hondas. Unless they changed something, I believe you may still have the wrong code for that HU.

You just push the numbers, there's really nothing else to it. It could be that you have the wrong code, in which case you just have to take out your head unit and find out what the serial number is and then call Honda to get the correct cod.

You dont have to take out the unit. With the key out of the ignition, hold onto 1 and 6 and turn the the car on, it should give you upper and lower codes. Take that to the dealership and they'll find out the code for you.

Apparently the dealer gave me an incorrect code when I purchased the car.
