Default Turbo/SC and emissions

I'm looking for any information some of the turbo/SC s2k owners in houston might have about emissions testing with their boost setup. I have an 05 and have the bug, but don't want to end up with a new car that won't pass inspection either. Idealy, i would prefer to go the turbo route, but any info u guys might have on both setups would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Call Curt at C&C Northside Motors: (832) 375-0933

He's babysitting 2 turbo S2000s at the moment.

If setting you car up right is helping, then yes Curt can help. go here http://www.ccsnorthsidemotors.com/index.html.
And if you want a turbo, e-mail Stratocaster, don't know if they are selling them yet, but I would talk to him first.

sounds like you have alot to learn, you might wanna just show up to a meet and hear from the turbo'd people and get their opinions if they show to meets. kurt at C&C would be a good start since he has like 50% of the turbo population sitting at his shop

Stratocaster? Sorry I'm new to these boards, does he craft a turbo kit in the area? I was under the impression that Lovefab was the current choice for a turbo.

I also haven't heard from any supercharged s2k's. How do they do with emissions?
I don't think you'll have any problem with the vortech and comptech s/c as they are carb certified, meaning you'll pass the emission test...

Absolutely. A more headache-free option is a Supercharger.
