I know the guy with the GTP (the silver supercharged one, right?) I was gonna bring up the same thing. Although I never raced the GTP, I have read several time on H-A.net that the GTP has lost to S2000s. If he beat an Altima, why can't we?

I have the whole thing on tape. He did beat the guy in the yellow that showed up late, but so did EVERYONE else. He did not beat the S/C'd S. In fact, they were so far behind the 'stang/ S/C S race that I had to replay it slowly to even see them. He just raced somebody who isn't very good at drag racing.

I'd guess there is a bit more to it than that (I have a number of proven changes), but you are right.. I am convinced the mat is a great mod. IMO you get the benefit of many CAI's for practically no cost.
