My dome light ran my battery dead, so I jumped it and now I have a CEL. I haven't gone to get it read, but is that normal to get a CEL after your battery dies. My car ran fine before and it seems to run the same. I haven't Vtec'd, yet. Any help would be needed and appreciated, thanks!

 

it's probably low battery voltage when cranking, scan it to be sure, and yes it's fine

Another update, it just went off! Whew, glad that was nothing.

 

oh,hm, mine was dead after it sat for a month or so, and I thought it actually said "low battery voltage when cranking", glad you got it fixed though
