sup, i saw your name on this site so i thought i'd drop u a line. well i was really set on getting an s2k. but, after researching and reading posts on here....i am too tall for the car. u're right. i read that some 6 foot dude has to kinda hump over to see his tachometer b/c his steering wheel blocks it.

i'm going to look for a 97-99 e36 M3 w/ about 50-60k miles. this car i will keep for a long time. and not mod it.

Interesting. I'm 6'2", with more height in my torso than legs. I can fit in and drive the S2000 with no problems at all. Just slide the seat back all the way and it's fine. Top up has no headroom problems, even with a helmet. I'd say I have more trouble squeezing into my RSX with a helmet than an S2000.

But, to each his own! =-)

Actually, I think the car is more comfortable for taller people. My wife is very petite (5'0", 95 lbs), and she is uncomfortable in it. The side bolsters wind up pushing her arms forward, and she has to slide the seat pretty far forward to reach her feat past the X-frame member that goes accross the floor board. She also has a hard time seeing out of the back. I am 6'0", and find that the car is a perfect fit with the seat pushed back. Really, I think the car looks better with the seats both pushed all the way back anyway.

I think you should go with the E36 M3 or maybe a Audi A4 with the APR chip.

Like I told you, a 2 seater is a hassle sometimes for an everyday car.
