I need to get a replacement key for an 01 pathfinder so I can get it out of a tow lot, also what do I need the owner to sign so that I can do that?

Thats how they get your car for auction :\. They make it not worth your while to pay for the fees to get it out so they can put it up at a city auction.

Get the VIN and go to the dealership and have them make you a key for $6
