driving schools
I am looking to find a driving school where I can practice my drifting and controlling the rear end. I found one that takes at TMS but that seems like more of a thrill for Nascar enthusiasts.
Any other places you guys know of?

yup, just go to an autocross, learn how to drive the car, not drift it all over the place. or else, find some deserted parking lot - and you've got a few minutes before the cops come to bully your butt out of there.
TMS isn't always a NASCAR-like place. look at www.texasmotorspeedway.com and you'll see they have more than just four left turns. But they have some mighty strong walls, which don't appeal to me, and I'm not sure they would to you if you want to practice drifting.

MSR is a private club, though they do allow clubs to host events. We are looking into doing one as the NTS2KOC but it will probably be next year before we put something on.
The best one I've been to in the area is put on by John Eagle (of Houston) at Texas World Speedway in College Station. Go to http://www.johneagleperformance.com for more info... they should have another this year in September or so (they normally do 2 a year).
FWIW, drifting might be "fun" but it's slow around a course. You also will probably not make many friends at a driving school if you are trying to drift around a course. In fact, you might get yourself kicked out.
