I'm down to make this. NTX is only 3 minutes from my place haha. I wonder if the guy I did some IT work for still owns part of it... Saw the 300SL they were restoring. Was a beauty. NTX is a strong example of what people with too much money will purchase in order to have a 24/7 garage for all their toys... and then try and recoup some purchasing cost by holding banquets there haha.

I've heard one partner in this museum is a dentist with offices nearby. In 1974 I passed on a 300SL that was in Chicago, not running but complete that was for sale for $7,400. Maybe not one of my smarter moves not to buy it.

yes, one partner is a dentist across the street haha. the guy who i worked with helps to manage and maintain the auto floor. he's german (go figure) and knows his MB's VERY well. has this real clean MB diesel wagon. and a few other classics at his place.
