I think OEM has the best fitment, best looks and least blind spot. Mugen looks good but it has the biggest blind spot of all the hardtops. If I ever get a hardtop, it would be OEM. It makes the car feel like a coupe and fits the car like a golve and your defroster will work with OEM too
OEM has best fitment = agreed!
best looks = disagree!
least blind spot = def agree!
OEM makes car feel like a coupe = agree BUT any hardtop does the same!
OEM fits like a glove = agreed, its OEM, it damn well better!
Defroster works with oem too = agreed, oem option, it damn well better also!

My , see sig!

I agree OEM would be best. Only problem is that new ones are... well out of the question lol $$$. Im just thinking that a used OEM NFR hardtop wont be available soon. Since I have about a 1 foot cut in the top from the theives. and I just go my insurance check yesterday so I kinda wanted to do something soon. but now im debating on just getting the soft top professionally patched using the insurance money then buy a 2-Way alarm and other mods for the car, maybe pay it off

All mugen "style" ht will not be perfect.
Some say authentic mugen ht is not perfect.
I disagree. Mine is real and I dont think there is anything that could be done to make it fit better.

While there is a bad blind spot, its no worse than having the soft top up. So if the blind sopt is the only down side, Ill take it to have the better looks.

Get glass not lexan. I have the VIS top from js2k. The lexan scratches to hell.
Are you sure it is lexan and not plexiglass. From what Ive heard that was the only difference between the two. Lexan is same weight, and cost more, but doesnt scratch like plexiglass.

What happens when you open the trunk quickly?
I found out that is nnot because of the top. Im missing one of the rubber stoppers on my trunck arms, which makes it open farther than it should. But I fixed that by adding a spoiler . But I need to get that stopper.
