Default Idle Control

Has anyone had any issues with idle control? I realize when the a/c kicks on the idle will fluctuate but my S2000 seems to have some issues with this. I do have a Comptech supercharger so I am pulling some hp on idle other than the a/c. I have been thinking about installing a grounding system such as an HKS Circle Earth Grounding System and/or an Electronic Idle Stabilizer from the same company. According to the manufacturers website, these products could help quite a bit. Any input would be appreciated! Thanks

The idle control system (at least prior to TBW) blows. Absolutely. This is true for a lot of Hondas, especially with any intake modifications.

Expect a low idle when returning from high RPMs, that's normal. It shouldn't die, but being slightly off on the valve adjustment, mediocre plugs, or turning on accessories like the AC or lights when coming back to idle can cause the car to die.

This is one area that Honda could take some pointers from some of the other companies. Hopefully with TBW they will figure it out (much easier to control idle).

Ditto on the grounding system. Anyone with any basic electrical training can tell you that it's a complete waste of money.

with a Honda that cannot control its idle without the AC turned on, I agree, the idle control sucks!
