And back to the original discussion, I'd like to see results have full names and all run times and penalties posted (as ER and SCCA do).

I would like to see that as well, maybe less the full last name.

Do we need to have a round table discussion and vote before the next autocross?

Things to discuss:

Run Format - Single Lap or Two Lap
Grid - How many cars in grid - 4, 5, 6 or more to allow time to think and make adjustments
# Cars on track - Two or Three, timing issues
Time Slips - Printing out slips for driver after each run
Posting Results/Points - How to display name
Posting all Runs (w/ Penalties)
Keeping our events relaxed and fun

Please post if you would be interested in participating over dinner some night. I'd like to do this soon while it's still fresh on everyone's mind.

I probably wouldn't be able to attend a round table, which is OK because I don't have much of an opinion on most of this but here is my 2 cents:

1) Single Lap or Two Laps is fine with me. No more than Two, though, as brakes will overheat, and there will be a problem with faster drivers catching up to slower drivers, etc.

2) 4-6 car grids are fine with me. Any less, and you don't have enough time to recollect your thoughts if you get rattled. Any more, and tires (for those w/ R compounds) get cold.

3) Cars on track is usually limited by length of track. I'd recommend no more than 3, but 2 is nice because it gives you more time to snag cones.

4) Printed Time Slips would be nice, or at least some way that we can see individual times immediately after each run... that way we can see what works/what doesn't.

5) Posting Results/Points. Doesn't really matter to me, but I think people should have an option of being anonymous, if they'd like. Everything is keyed off the number anyway.

6) Posting all Runs (w/ Penalties) - that would be swell! We can see trends, analyze our consistency, etc, of our runs throughout the day.

7) Keeping our events relaxed and fun - I dunno... most of that is up to the attendees.

I would be up for a dinner discussion.

About my statement on anonimity, I am not trying to commit fraud. I hear all the time about AHM denying warranty coverage because of "abuse", and I don't see any reason to give them an excuse to use it on me. I expect that my 300+ 2nd gear grinds will eventually cause my tranny to fail, and I hope that it happens before my warranty expires. Of those 300 grinds, probably only 10 have happened at autocrosses.

I'd be happy to discuss. The further south and west you can meet the better for me.

I'd be happy to discuss over dinner. I like food, preferably eating it.
