What does "missing 2nd" mean? It simply doesn't go into gear at all, no matter how much force you put on the shifter? I never heard about an S2000 having that issue before, sorry.

In any case, I prefer Honda's new MT fluid over the GM Synchromesh.

yea ive had little notch going to 2nd as well only when shifting in high rpm though. After i changed my tranny fluid (HONDA MTF) all the problems were fixed and it now shifts real smooth in all gears ive had REDLINE fluid in it before i still think (HONDA MTF) feels better.... HONDA MTF FTW

i have no complaints, havent heard caesar say anything and mark hasnt had any issues either.

I'll add another for Honda MTF. Did it Thursday, and it is a lot better.

I've used GM, Royal Purple and the new Honda stuff and it makes no difference on mine.

I used to think I was hitting my elbow on the seat back when I as shifting and therefore I wasn't pulling the shifter back far enough but that's not it either.
