Do you think it is too much or too little fuel? I am using a fuel cell and not seeing any fuel returning to the tank. Where did you get the gauge?

I have no idea if you are getting too much or too little but, I know if you are not getting return that is probably creating all kinds of issues. I can't remember where i bought the one I had but it looks like inline four has the same one. In fact while you have them on the phone ask about your fuel return.
Inline four B&M gauge clicky clicky

If you are using a stock fuel rail, that rail has a return line, and you are not seeing any return flow, you have a problem somewhere in your fueling system. I don't know if you're getting too much or not enough fuel, because I don't know what the pressure on your fuel rail is, and what the OEM pressure should be.

I'd call WCM and see if they've experienced similar problems in other Ultralites. They may have some idea what's going on.

Are you using an OE S2k Fuel Pump, fuel filter, etc? I would definetley check the fuel pressure first. Your issues sound like they could easily be related to fuel delivery. Do you have a WBO2 you can watch AFR with?

After market pump and filter. No WBO2.

Where did you find the housing for the gauge?

Definetely check the fuel pressure then, I would be surprised if its in the correct range with an aftermarket pump. Are you running some type of adjustable Fuel Pressure Regulator?

It is FIXED!!! Deep in the fuel cell the line was half off the pump.

Now I need to find a magnetic speed senor and mount it. Any suggestions for local?

As long as the tach works, just mount a Garmin or similar if you really need to see your speed.
