I WAS WONDERING IF THERE WAS ANY MECHANICS AROUND THE AREA WHO KNOWS THERE WAY AROUND AN S. I'M PLANNING TO DO A LOT OF MAINTENANCE ON MY S COMING UP AND DON'T WANT TO BE RAPE BY A DEALER. I'M IN THE 817 AREA. WILL TRAVEL.

All of that stuff is real easy and quick, you don't need to pay anyone.

The cabin filter is just a couple of screws by the wipers and the diff and tranny fluid changes are just a matter of a couple of jackstands and a small, cheap, fluid pump you can get at any auto store or the grocery store.

Uhhh.... we have cabin filters????

817 area...

If you're looking for a good dealership in that area, I think vandergriff honda has pretty good prices. My coworker came to me and asked me about some car problems -- and it sounded like they were spot on with the diagnosis of his car and the prices to fix problems were very comparable to what my old shop would've charged.

I hate dealerships as much as the next - but they maybe a viable option for you.
