It was a nice day today and after washing the S I went on a lil drive. I decided to punch it a lil and then slowed down. I was driving then all the sudden I see flashing lights behind me, he must of seen me on the freeway(190) b/c I didnt see no cops on the service road. He came out and ask me how fast I was going he said saw me going over 60. I told him I was going 55. He gave me the ticket and put 60 in a 50 but in the radar part he put "paced". Is there any way to fight this? I've heard pacing isn't a accurate measure of how fast you're going.

worst comes to worse just do defensive driving.. it would cost more to fight it

You could try fighting it, but you probably wouldn't do any better than deferred adjudication. Since you really were speeding, you should probably just pay it, or request deferred adjudication or defensive driving.

Honestly, it seems like the cop was being generous with you. He could have written a ticket for "Unsafe Speed", which I believe is worse than a speeding ticket on your record.

You can fight any ticket, just show up to court. It will take a couple days of your time. Or get a lawyer.
