As some of you know, I have a SeaRay 200BR runabout boat
. Several years ago the audio system was stolen
by bad people. I have differed buying another one, relying on my dock audio system and portable radios. But now I'm back in the market for a sound system for my sports car without wheels.
I was almost convinced to get a Clarion M475 Marine Receiver with Polk Momo MMC 650 speakers. The on-line reviews, etc. looked great (5 stars and that sort of thing). Then I called my favorite car audio installer in Tyler and he suggested the Sony CDX-M50iP receiver with Alpine SPS-M600 speakers.
OK, first of all, I design and build oil refineries for a living. While I enjoy quality audio equipment, I'm not that up to speed on the subject. Any help would be appreciated.
Remember, what you recommend may show up at the NTS2KOC Lake Day, so you have a vested interest
.
