Greetings Paraders:

Congrats on the parade and promoting the S2K profile. I've been trying to get the group interested in participating in the Grapevine "GrapeFest" parade for years, and here you guys just went ahead and did it! Why didn't I think of that.

Feel free to parade over to Tyler this weekend for the lake gathering.

Just had to slip that in.

Regards,

Al

Heh, we all looked great out there! Oh and I'm SO glad that the rain stopped just in time to lower the tops! Thanks for bringin that hat for me Kaiser. Some things I heard:

"Happy 4th of July!"

*Siren* "You need to get back into single file" - Cop
"What kind of car is that"
"Oh, it's a bunch of race cars!"
"Spin 'em!"
"Burn some rubber!"
"Rev it up!"
"AGAIN!"
"Did you need a passenger?!" (I could tell she was joking so I told her to hop in, if she was my age and cute I woulda actually tried to get her to though haha)
"What's the name of your club?"
"Nice car!"
"I like your car!"
"Nice muffler!"
"It's a slow drive, I did it on a motorcycle last year!" - right at the start...
"Those are fast"
"Will they let you test drive them?"
"Sexy car!"
"Nice hat"
"Can I have your hat?"

"Oh, it's just a bunch of S2000's"
"Sounds slow"

I had a blast you guys, my clutch foot was tired after about 30 min but soon got over it (the clutch in this is a lot lighter than the vehicle I learned to drive a standard in, and drove it for 5 years). Getting to meet up with you guys and talk to everybody and hang out was fun, but the best part was seein all the little kids havin a good time out there!

I had the most tape on my car and everything came off with out any signs it was ever on there.

XLeezerdx you did use the Painter's blue tape didn't you? Not the double sided carpet tape I had?

I never heard a negative comment except about the noise some of the cars were making and a few kids who didn't like the fumes.

They were all complimentary and all had to do with the fact they looked fast &/or expensive

it wasn't my foot that killed me.. it was my left knee that killed me. traffic is one thing.. that was TOTALLY different. let's do it again!

Haha, I'm down but I don't think the cops would like it if we drove 2MPH down Independance from Park to Spring Creek just for kicks...
