PRT Performance

I just joined this forum because your post came up as the 4-5th hit on Google and I'm still mad.
I don't own a S2k, but Steve @ PRT messed up my 240sx and made it worse than what it was dropped off for. He had my car for 2.5 weeks too.
I ended up taking it to another mechanic and I found out he installed a used part on my engine too (after specifically asking Steve for Nissan OEM).
It's all better now but I think I may have dodged a bullet, it could have been worse.
Anyway, I read your story and I'm not surprised. I just wanted to add that PRT is not a good shop. They're too disorganized, too busy, and should just stick to rotaries. I'm more annoyed that he came highly recommended from the DFW Miata club.

^^ Glad you chimed in.
I'm over it at this point. I've had fun tuning my own car. I managed to put down 381whp Mustang Dyno figures using my own tune, car drives like a dream now. Only kinks I'm working out currently are some IAT ignition compensation tables, in warmer weather its pulling a lot of timing and I'm losing what feels like close to 50-60whp. I need to dial that in to only pull what needs to be pulled and it should be good.
If no other S2ks in this area get tuned by him due to my thread, I'll be satisfied.
