Default Puddy Mod Diff Install

So uhh just like my springs i need a place to get my diff installed. its a stage 2 puddymod. this will finally allow me to get some good time at the track. but i need a place who knows what they are doing. i got ahold of marcucci but of course he got too busy and cant work on it. does anyone have suggestions? i was thinking of going to Protune performance in ft worth. any help is

I agree with Andrew. Installing a diff is straight forward if you have the right hand tools (allen wrenches, sockets, torque wrench, etc.).

BTW, what is the "PuddyMod Stage 2 Differential", and how is it going to improve your track experience? I had 4.77's on my '02 S2000, and it ruined it for track stuff IMHO. I can't imagine how sucky it would be to have 4.77s on my '08 ...

I'm guessing "track" = dragstrip. Ie. - not a real track.

I think the Puddymod Diffs are just reinforced somehow, not sure that the gearing is changed on them.

Pish Posh. It is a real track. Its just a different kind of track.

As far as I know its a rebuilt, stronger unit. You can have him change out the FD ratio for you, but can leave the stock 4.10's in there as well.

I agree, the stock 4.10's are plenty good for the track. I run out gear enough with the 4.10's, I cant imagine anything shorter than that being of any help.

stage 2? is that the one that's like 1500 or so?

if/when i blow my diff, i'm going to get that with 3.90 gears
